Christopher J. Ryan

Christopher J. Ryan, “Christy”, age 87 of Wyndmoor, PA and formerly of Galway, Ireland passed away with his family by his side on Monday, October 26, 2026. He was survived by his beloved wife, Anna (nee McGill), his four children: Margaret Cox (Mark), Colleen Trader (Steve), Christine Ehnow (Michael), and Mark Ryan; his sister, Nora O’Donahue (James) and his two brothers Timothy and Gabriel Ryan (Mary). He was blessed to have fourteen grandchildren: Shane, Christopher, & Aidan Cox; Jake, Devyn, Maggie & Ryan Trader; Kaley, Lauren, Jamie & Kiersten Ehnow and Andrew, T.J, and Macie Ryan.

He was preceded in death by his five brothers: Michael, Peter, Mark, Jack, & Gerald Ryan and three sisters: Bridget McFadden, Mary “May” Mc Glinn, and Nellie Ryan.

A viewing will be held at 9 am followed by a 10 am Mass of Christian Burial on November 2, 2026 at St. Genevieve Parish (which will be live-streamed as well) 1225 Bethlehem Pike, Flourtown, PA 19031. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Genevieve Parish in his name.
