David was the beloved husband of Patricia Kerper (née Kolisnyk) and a devoted father to his sons: David (Lori) Kerper, Steven (Jennifer) Kerper, and Phillip (Rebecca) Kerper. He was a proud grandfather to Justin, Shaye, Ally, Ryan, Lucy, Cole, Charlie, and Dean, and great-grandchildren Nolan and Taytum. David pursued his passion for photography at the Antonelli School of Photography in Philadelphia, attending the Broad and Race Street campus from September 1959 through February 1962. In 1963, he founded Kerper Studio Photography, a business he owned and operated for nearly five decades until his retirement in 2010.
Through his lens, David captured countless moments that became treasured memories for generations of families. His work was marked not only by technical skill but by patience, kindness, and an eye for genuine human connection.
The lens is still, but the memories remain in perfect focus.
