Deacon Richard C. Coyne

On January 30, 2019, Deacon Richard C. Coyne, loving husband and devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed peacefully at his home at the age of 88 years young. Known for his humble, kind and welcoming demeanor, he was deeply committed to his faith, call to the deaconate, and, most of all, to his family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Betty and youngest, funniest daughter Colette.  He left us to toast his long, wonderful life and abounding love. He is survived by his children Betty Ann, Karen (David), Richard (Sam), Chris (Kim), and Kevin, grandchildren Katie (Terrance), Matt (Naomi), Zach, Michael (Danielle), Aaron, Alanna (Andrew), and Gavin (Erica), six great grandchildren, and many extended family members and friends. Viewing from 9 to 11 am at Holy Cross Church, 140 E. Mt Airy Ave., followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 11 am on Monday, February 4, 2019.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Holy Cross Church or a charity of your choice.
