Dorothy J. “Dot” Mancini (nee Myers), age 95, of Philadelphia and Leesport, PA, died peacefully at home on Sunday, March 19. Born March 28, 1927 in Philadelphia, she was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Mancini. Dot is survived by her 6 children, Sandra Mancini-Franklin, Sharon Violi (Frank), Tony, Frank (Darlene), Dante and Marc (Elaine). She is also survived and loved by 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Friday, March 24, 9 AM-10AM immediately followed by a prayer service at Jacob F. Ruth Funeral Home, 8413 Germantown Avenue, Chestnut Hill, PA 19118. Int. Leverington Cemetery, 6075 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations in her memory be made to Cure SMA, 925 Busse Road, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Website www.curesma.org.
