Jane T. DeAngelo

Jane T. DeAngelo (nee Carboni) In her 100th year, on May 5th, 2020 of Chestnut Hill. Wife of the late Louis G. DeAngelo. Beloved mother of Judith Sciarra (John), Doris Hunter (Robert), Janet Taylor, and the late Marie Jones (Ed). Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Jane was the Director of Food Services at Springside School for many years. She worked with her husband there, and they were known as “Mr. and Mrs. Lou.” Jane was always an avid bridge player and reader. In later years, she volunteered at Chestnut Hill Hospital and contributed many of her knitted items to various nonprofit organizations. Jane was known as “Aunt Jane” to all who knew and loved her. Funeral and interment were held privately on May 9th, 2020. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association or Our Mother of Consolation Church.
