Janet Timm Casciola 90, passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, in Wydmoor, PA. after a brief illness. Born on June 9th, in Mineola, NY, she was second of four children of Carl and Catherine Timm.

In 1958 she married her high school sweetheart Robert “Bob” Casciola. Over 65 years of marriage, they built a life together in Princeton, NJ, Hanover, NH, Tolland, CT, Princeton Jct, NJ before retiring to Scottsdale, AZ. Together they raised their children in the Northeast, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and lasting friendships.

Janet will be remembered for her kindness, humor, generosity and devotion to family. A steadfast partner, she embraced the many moves that came with Bob’s career, always creating a welcoming home wherever they lived. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing golf and tennis. She later found great joy in following her grandchildren’s many activities in sports and music. She was a lifelong reader and an enthusiastic fan of college football and NY Yankees baseball. She loved going out to breakfast and delighted in the beautiful desert landscapes and sunsets of Arizona.

Predeceased by her parents, husband Bob and siblings Florence and Richard, Janet is survived by her four children Jeanne (Mark), Don (Cheri), Julie and Lynn and grandchildren Carly (Kyle), Will, Hannah (Jordan), Grace (Ross), Sophie, Charlie (Maura), Kellar and great-granddaughter Holley. She is also survived by her sister Nancy (Al), sister-in-law Victoria, and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McDowell Sonoran Conservancy. www.mcdowellsonoran.org work in preserving the McDowell Sonoran Preserve brought her great joy.
