Joseph P. (Joe) D’Antonio, Jr., 57, of the Chestnut Hill neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA, passed away on January 29, 2026.
Born on November 22, 1968, Joe was the son of Joseph D’Antonio, Sr. and Eleanor D’Antonio (née Console). He grew up in Narberth, PA, and attended St. Margaret’s Grade School, Archbishop Carroll High School, and Saint Joseph’s University.
Joe was a proud "Narb" who loved people. No one was a stranger. He immediately connected with everyone he met through his quick wit and sharp sarcasm. Joe loved his Philadelphia sports teams, college basketball, time spent down the shore, a good bourbon Manhattan, great Italian food, red wine, and dogs. Most of all, he loved his family and friends. Throughout his career, Joe worked as a respected talent acquisition leader.
Joe is survived by his beloved wife, Rena D’Antonio (née Conklin); his sisters, Linda O’Keefe (David) and Loretta Truppelli (Jerry); his sister-in-law, Krista Crusemire (Craig); his mother-in-law, Kathleen Conklin (Chuck Shirley); and his father-in-law, Jim Conklin (Colleen McMonagle). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: David O’Keefe, Jr., Natalie O’Keefe, Ellie O’Keefe, Erin O’Keefe, Phillip Truppelli, Gabby Truppelli, Caden Crusemire, and Bridget Crusemire, his dog, Sammie and countless extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph D’Antonio, Sr. and Eleanor D’Antonio, and his beloved dog, Baxter.
A Funeral Mass and celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at St. Margaret’s Church, 208 N. Narberth Avenue, Narberth, PA 19072. Visitation will be held from 9:00–10:30 a.m., followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Take a Breather Foundation and Lisa’s Army in Joe’s memory.
