Michele "Mimi" Roman Perkins, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on April 29, 2023, after a courageous battle with bile duct cancer. She was 54 years old. Mimi was born on January 8, 1969, in Chestnut Hill, PA. She grew up in Flourtown, PA, where she attended Mount St. Joseph Academy. She later attended La Salle University and Montgomery County Community College, where she earned her Associates degree in Dental Hygiene. Mimi was a devoted wife to Dr. David Perkins and a loving mother to her three children, Christie, Johnny, and Amy Perkins. She is survived by them, her mother, Janese Roman, her father, Lawrence Roman, her brothers Larry and Greg, her nephews, Andrew, Tristan, Mikey, Sam, Hunter, and her niece, Katie. Throughout her career as a dental hygienist, Mimi touched the lives of countless patients with her gentle and caring approach. She was passionate about helping others maintain their oral health and was dedicated to her work. Mimi will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her legacy of kindness, compassion, and dedication to others will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 5th, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 AM at St. Helena Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cholangiocarcinoma Foundation.
