Rosa Paludi

With great sorrow Rosa (Rosetta) D’Orazio Paludi passed away suddenly on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026 earning her wings into heaven. Rosa was born May 5th, 1939 in Bucchianico, Italy to the proud parents Romeo D’Orazio and Giovinna Delanzo. She was blessed to be married to Giustino Paludi (predeceased) for 53 years.

Loving mother to Giannino Paul Paludi (wife Theresa Talarico) and Edmondo Paludi (wife Margaret Bitner), and Nonna to Giovanni Giustino Paludi (wife Linsay), Enzo Joseph Paludi (wife Jennifer), and Matthew Robert Paludi.

Loving Great Grandma (Bisnonna) to Lia Gabrielle, Luca Giorgio, Marcello Anthony, Giustino Lorrin, Giuliano Leone, Sofia Jane, Lilliana Grace, Olivia Rose, and Lorenzo Giani, who were her pride and joy.

Rosa was blessed with many siblings who cherished their time together. Camillo (wife Dora), Umberto (wife Lucia), Maria (husband Giuseppi), Arnaldo (Adalgisa), Luisa (Umberto), Antonio (Linda), Irma (Giuseppe), Joe (Grace), Paul (Maria).

Rosa worked at both Botany 500 for 15 years and Super Fresh Supermarket for 18 yrs. Rosa had many qualities and was kindhearted. She was an avid gardener and baker, her Pizzelles will be missed by many.

Please join in a celebration of a wonderful life lived on Saturday, January 10, 2026 for a viewing 9–11 am at Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, 154 E. Mt. Airy Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19119. Interment following Mass at George Washington Memorial Park, 80 Stenton Ave., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
