Suzanne Bagwell

Suzanne Henkels Leaming Bagwell (1962-2026)

Born in Philadelphia in 1962 to Patricia and Francis Leaming. Suzanne attended Our Mother of Consolation School and Raven Hill Academy before venturing on a varied career at Under the Blue Moon, Suzanne’s Grateful Deli, and Suzanne’s Concierge Service, but regardless of where or when she was working, Suzanne never stopped traveling. The unifying theme in her relationship with every person she knew was that Suzanne was always the life of the party.

Suzanne passed away peacefully from complications related to cancer and was surrounded by her children and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her children Shane, Courtney, and Christian, her grandchildren Cortland and Jack, and her siblings Carol, Frank, Jack, Liz, Mary Louise, Michael, Paul, Peter, and Trish.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 11:00 a.m. at Our Mother of Consolation Church, 9 E Chestnut Hill Ave, Philadelphia, PA. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
